Verse of the Week
Romans 12:10
“Be devoted to one another in Love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
Weekly Message
Jesus declared John the Baptist as the Greatest Prophet who ever lived. John prepared the way for Jesus, as we should also, preparing by Love for the believers who come after us and for our family. We benefit from the covenant because Christ died for us to have a more intimate relationship with the Father, through the Holy Spirit. A pure gift. We, as believers and men of God, have a special bond and should always practice treating each other with sacrificial Love, which produces Love, Kindness, and Humility as a testimony of God’s Love for us.
Let Love have its perfect work in us without limit. We have to emulate Christ’s Love by treating others with enhanced kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. Practice humility, serve one another, build up with encouraging speech, and avoid judging, because any other action will not be the full Shadowing of Jesus Christ.
A new commandment I give to you, that you Love one another: Just as I Loved you, you also are to Love one another. Jh.13:34
Encourage believers to be kind, tender hearted, mirroring the way God has forgiven them through Christ. Eph. 4:32
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Phil.2:3
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Gal.6:2
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good into men, especially unto them who are of the Household of Faith. Gal.6:10
Weekly prayer
Lord, I pray, there is a change in the hearts of unbelievers. I pray for a testimony of love and faith to be in their lives. I pray that we as faithful men become the wall of Love to protect what is being let in the body of Christ and what’s being let out of the body of Christ. I pray we do our perfect work and fulfill every purpose like you do in your love for us. Amen.
